Just a thought...

For the past year, Tyson and I have been struggling with a huge trial that has come our way. For the most part, I think I have done a pretty good job at handling my feelings and not becoming too sad...but today I got SO upset! I was on my way home from work when I was talking to the husband on the phone, when we got on the subject. I could NOT fight back the tears and I just started crying. Tyson is always SO strong...which is good, because that would be a mess if we were both cry babies! I got home and for the past hour or so I just sat in our quiet house, when this quote from President Hinckley came to my mind... "If life gets too hard to stand...kneel." I fell right to my knees and just prayed! I prayed for so long!!

I know that Heavenly Father loves us. I know that he answers our prayers. I know that we all have trials... some are really small, that last just a few minutes...and some are so big, that they feel like they will never go away. After I prayed, I felt so much better! I have SO much to be grateful for...oh my goodness!!

THESE are my favorite BLESSINGS:
  • I have the best husband in the whole entire world! He is my best friend...my eternal companion...and my little angel boy.

  • I have an amazing mom and dad who always lift me up and say EXACTLY what I need to hear on my roughest days.

  • I have the funnest and most awesome siblings in the world. We are all so close..best friends forever.

  • I have the best family-in-law. They are amazing and make me so happy.

  • I have five of the cutest little angel girls as my nieces that bring me so much happiness. They are hillarious.

  • I have a great job...that I actually enjoy going to every day!

  • I have a beautiful home that I get to live in.

  • I have a testimony.

  • I am not too poor.

  • I go on vacations like all the time.

  • I get to sleep in on the weekends.

  • I am a happy person!

Tahiti...Mandatory Vacay

Tyson and I have a secret obsession with Bachelorette. K, maybe its not a secret...but we do have some sort of obsession. Every Monday consists of us chillin at home starting at 8pm watching ABC. Tonight's episode was extremely dramatic...thought I was going to break down in tears, but one thing that was SO special is that they were in TAHITI. We decided we are going there!! We are so excited!! It is like THE most romantic place on earth! It literally costs like one million dollars to go there, but we don't care. Tyson is looking at flights and hotels and I am examining pictures of this heavenly place. I sincerely hope we get to go one day!! We are going to start saving TODAY, so we can go in like ten years. :) TAHITI... HERE WE COME!!!

PS - I have loved Roberto this whole season but I have grown to LOOOVEEE Christopher. If she doesn't choose Chris, I am going to be SO upset.

Day Date!

I am trying to get better at this Blog thing...I think I am finally getting the hang of it! Anyways... Tyson HATES going to the movies with me because I always fall asleep. I seriously have a disease I think...if there is such a thing... I fall asleep in every movie no matter how hard I try to stay awake!! I told him if he wanted me to stay awake then maybe we could try going to a morning movie. SO, this morning we went to the movies at 11:00am. Haha. It was so much fun! So random...I don't think we have EVER gone to the movies that early before. I think we decided though we will definitely be doing it again because (a) it is so much cheaper and (b) I stayed awake the WHOLE time!

We went and saw Inception and surprisingly I really liked it! In the first ten minutes I was so confused and I was hating my life, but it got better. I normally only like chick flick, love stories... so this is kind of a big deal. We also snuck Port of Subs in. Love the POS. Its so bomb. Day Dates are just so special!! We had so much fun!!

We're BAAAAACK!

So... the last time we were on this special blog was like last year, and now that we are OFFICIALLY married, we figured we could actually become a part of blogging. We got married November 29, 2008 and absolutely LOVE our life! It is so much fun and even better than we imagined. My last post on this was about how much I missed Tyson and how I couldnt wait until he was home.. and now he has been home for like 9 months!! and on Friday we will be celebrating our 6 MONTH ANNIVERSARY! So excited. Anyways, I guess I just have to play catch up for a little while....
We began our OFFICIAL journey as the DAVIS'S on November 29,2008 in the Las Vegas Temple. It was amazing to finally be sealed to my best friend! Especially because it feels like I waited for that moment for centuries! It was seriously the best day of our life. The temple was incredible. So many friends and family were there to support which was of course amazing. We had our reception at Loews Lake Las Vegas, where I worked at the moment. These are just a few pictures of that special day. It rocked.

I promise I will update this more often starting NOW. :) Tyson even said he is going to write on here sometimes too. So it will be a total couple effort. Marriage is bomb.

Our Story

Tyson and I met in our Biology class in 2002!! Tys was a Freshmen and I was a Sophmore. I had a crush on him the first time I layed my eyes on him. I thought he was so cute and so fun, but way too good for me! On the other side of the story though, Tys wasn't very fond of the waivy haired, four eyed, brace faced girl that I was. He thought I was a little too blonde and loud. (you can even ask him..he will admit it!) Anyways, we went through the school year as just "classmates" but I still had a thing for him. It was crazy how our paths kept bumping into eachother the following Summer. (even at EFY San Diego!) We eventually had mutual friends which forced us to hang out with eachother.

Tyson was in a terrible accident in April of 2004, where he hit his head and couldn't remember anything. I always tell Tys, that was the only way Heavenly Father could get him to like me!! Because immediately following the accident, all of the sudden, Tyson liked me back! To make a very long story short, we fell in love.

I graduated from High School and Tys was still in school. That year because of certain circumstances, I stayed home and attended UNLV and it was truely one of the most wonderful years of life! Tys and I were able to spend so much time together and make memories that would last forever.

It was soon time for Tys to graduate from High School, and after that he went to BYU. I thought that the long distance relationship thing was going to be so terrible, but really it only prepared me for these 2 years that we are apart. Tyson loved BYU and had a great time, and I continued to succeed in my schooling and career. In August of 2006 Tys got his mission call to serve in the Phnom Penh Cambodia Mission. It truly has been the most amazing experience in my life and even though I really hate it sometimes because I miss him so much, I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to be "waiting."

Many people thought I wouldn't make it the whole two years, but it pretty much has been my favorite thing proving them all wrong! :) Yay..I love my Tyson Hunter!
